behind the lens

I'm briney — a photographer based in San Antonio, TX working in both film and digital. I'm drawn to the moment before people realize they're being photographed. The look away, the laugh mid-sentence, the quiet between things. That's where I live with a camera.

I shoot 35mm and medium format film alongside digital, depending on what the project calls for. Whether it's a roll of Kodak or a clean digital session, I'm less interested in perfection than in something that actually feels like a moment.

I also do full editorial — controlled light, intentional framing, the kind of work that looks good in print. Whatever you need, I want it to feel like yours when it's done.
